Position Title: Flight Operations Manager
Reports to: VP, Flight Operations

Positions Summary:
Position is responsible for the daily management of Flight Operation’s administrative activities and supervision of dispatchers and travel coordinators. Position directs charter sales team and charter business development efforts.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage the daily office activities of the Flight Operations department.
- Supervise team of Charter sales force, and charter flight support (concierge) team, and charter flight dispatchers..
- Ensure compliance with all FAA requirements including pilot rest and duty and operational control requirements.
- Ensures compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and organizational standards including all department managerial responsibilities regarding the Safety and Quality Management Systems. Identify any deficiencies, develop, implement, and verify preventative and corrective measures and will be held accountable for quality and safety results. Communicate any appropriate issues with the proper regulatory authority regarding issues of safety and quality.
- Manage charter office trip sales, customer follow-up, and trip concierge coordination.
- Oversee design and implementation of all shop procedures and associated documents and checklists.
- Coordinating resources to deliver excellent flight experiences to customers.
- Developing relationships with existing client base at all levels.
- Developing/maintaining database enabling the tracking and delivery of individual customer preferences.
- Ensuring fulfillment of customer contractual obligations.
- Reviewing quotes and invoices for accuracy, completeness, and follow-up. Ensuring compliance with weekly/monthly accounting deadlines.
- Preserving the confidentiality of company and client information.
- Identifying/developing and pursuing charter sales opportunities for sales team.
- Creation/design/implementation of tracking programs and reporting procedures to support profit maximization.
- Generation and analysis of operating reports (fuel, labor management, profitability).
- Identifying/developing business development opportunities.
- Promoting brand awareness through integration with professional organizations and marketing strategies.
- Ensuring all corrective actions required by internal or external audits are addressed and implemented in an acceptable time frame.
- Reviews all departmental job descriptions annually to ensure position responsibilities and qualifications requirements are documented, practical, appropriate, and achievable. Any changes in expectations, competencies, and responsibilities will be addressed regardless of technical and regulatory proficiency requirements.
- Coordinates with VP, Flight Operations providing sales and concierge team with all required tools/support.
- Responsible for sales and concierge team personnel reviews and disciplinary actions as required.
Qualifications/ Skills
- Must have high school degree or equivalent
- BS/BA in Management or related field highly preferred
- Experience with flight operations required
- Experience with sales/business development required
